The purpose of the Nashville Area Association for the Education of Young Children, as an affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, is to provide opportunities for our members to enhance their professional experiences and increase their knowledge about the development, the care, and the education of young children.  Joining NAAEYC has many benefits to offer individuals that work in or are involved with early childhood education.  Joining NAAEYC offers administrators, teachers, students, or children’s advocates several benefits: membership to a professional organization (affiliation with ECE professional around the world and locally), opportunity to serve as an officer or on a committee, full voting and service privileges, receive NAAEYC mailings (including NAEYC, SECA, and TAEYC publications), free training offered throughout the year at NAAEYC membership meetings, discounted conferences offered at the local, state, regional and national level (NAAEYC, TAEYC, SECA and NAEYC), insurance options, credit card options, and eligibility for membership in the Educators Credit Union.

Membership to NAAEYC includes membership in NAEYC, TAEYC, and SECA.  If you haven’t joined yet or have let your membership lapse you can register or renew two ways – call Lori DuBois at 615-383-6292 or visit www.naeyc.org/membership
