All Presenters Have a Role to Play!

The Nashville Area Association for the Education of Young Children has signed on and aligns with NAEYC's Advancing Equity in Early Childhood Education position statement. We are excited for the opportunity to have you present at our upcoming conference and ask that you take a moment to read over the position statement and look for connections between the statement and the goals of your presentation. No matter what you’re focused on, there are opportunities to draw a line connecting your area of expertise and our collective commitment to advance equity in early childhood education.

Conference

We look forward to having you be a part of this fun training event.

Presenters are invited to submit a workshop proposal for consideration. Presentations are needed for age groups birth through age eight, and a variety of other topics that might apply to all ages. Adult learners enjoy sessions that are engaging and participatory especially for all day conferences. If applicable, assisting teachers to link your workshop to the TN-Elds is also very beneficial.

If you would like to take part in this annual event, please complete the form below and submit by March 27. Accepted proposal notifications will be completed by April 3.

  • Multiple breakout sessions will be offered throughout the day.

  • The day's agenda is tentative, but will allow for a morning keynote, four breakout time periods, and a closing featured speaker.

  • The sessions will be between 1 hr and 1 1/2 hrs.

  • Registration will begin at 8:00 am with the Welcome and Keynote beginning at 8:45 am.

  • The day will conclude at 4:15.

  • Registration fees are waived for presenters (up to two).
